The atmosphere of Jerry varies from year to year. Some years residents expect many social events (Jerry-hosted all campus parties, happy hours, etc.), and some years residents are pretty low key and prefer occasional study breaks and arts events. However, traditionally Jerry has been a house that has hosted several all-campus parties held by other institutions (ex: annual AEPi party). Because the structure of the house is divided up into five "pods" with separate stairwells, it is possible that residents would not take the time to come in the main entrance or convene in the central lounge. So, integrating the pods is a primary goal of Jerry's staff.
