Terra is the unofficial queer and trans-themed co-op and the community strives to foster a space that is safe for marginalized students. This translates to a commitment on the part of all residents to participate in conversations on intersectional (i.e. converging on a variety of identities such as race, gender, ability, religion, class, etc.) issues. The community welcomes students of all backgrounds and levels of familiarity with these topics, the only requirement is a willingness to engage and learn.

More About Terra

Whether it is impromptu picnics on the lawn, midnight baking in the kitchen, video games in the bi room, lively dinners in the dining area, happy hour in the courtyard or study circles in the lounge - it is never a dull moment at Terra. The community also hosts a dinner party and an all campus every quarter, happy hour bi-weekly, and a spring quarter trip.
