Xanadu has one of the most prime locations on campus, and as such, is highly desired amongst students.
With the vast majority of the 61 residents being seniors, the house is filled with a constant high energy and excitement. The student and professional staff work together to make this the best house on campus, planning in-house events, off-campus excursions, and constant debauchery. Living in Xanadu will be the best year of your life.
Information Regarding Mail and Package Delivery
Students living in Row Houses (Upper Row, Lower Row, Clusters 1, 2, or 3/Cowell) are strongly encouraged to follow the directions for the mail and package process provided on the Mail Delivery and Shipping page, as the PO Box address is each student’s official Stanford address and should be maintained during their entire undergraduate career. However, Row residents are also able to have mail packages delivered directly to their Row house by addressing mail and packages to the house's street address. Please be reminded that Student Housing/the University accepts no responsibility for packages sent to/delivered at individual residences.

What makes a successful Xanadu staff member?
A successful Xanadu staff member is someone excited to live in the house and excited to meet the people who live in it. They need to be friendly and willing to reach out to new people, and really willing to spend time helping to form a fun and safe community from move in day. Most importantly, a successful house staff member is someone who makes this place a safe, comfortable, and inclusive home for everyone.
Our house is meaningful to the Stanford community because...
We are an open environment and we continuously allow different student groups to hold events throughout the year. Our house is the biggest house on the Row and the quirky wooden shingles sometimes attract woodpeckers.
