Located in the northern section of the farm within the Row, 1047 Campus Drive houses roughly 55 community members. Situated near the Stanford Dish as well as Lake Lagunita, the location provides convenient access to a variety of outdoor trails for exercise. 1047 is also a self-operated house that is managed by residents with a house cook on-site.
The incoming residents select their room through the in-house draw and sign a supplemental housing agreement.
Information regarding mail and package delivery
Students living in Row Houses (Upper Row, Lower Row, Clusters 1, 2, or 3/Cowell) are strongly encouraged to follow the directions for the mail and package process provided on the Mail Delivery and Shipping page, as the PO Box address is each student’s official Stanford address and should be maintained during their entire undergraduate career. However, Row residents are also able to have mail packages delivered directly to their Row house by addressing mail and packages to the house's street address. Please be reminded that Student Housing/the University accepts no responsibility for packages sent to/delivered at individual residences.
Additional Community Information
What is the coolest thing about your house & community?
1047 Campus Drive (aka The Ranch) is a fun new community that is driven by its diversity and individual student culture. Students have an opportunity to guide house events and assist with planning events they’d like to see in the house. This close knit community is open to all and invites any who wish to join.
What makes a successful 1047 staff member?
All it takes is an honest effort to venture out of the comfortable confines of your two-room double to enjoy our spaces -- be it basketball in the backyard, volleyball in the front, fireside chats in the lounge, or playing video-games in The Quint.
Our house is meaningful to the Stanford community because...
We have created a home-base for the senior class that lightly explores rural themes in the heart of Silicon Valley.
