About

Hometown: Bakersfield, California and Boston, Massachusetts: I "grew up" in both places for different reasons and at different stages in my life. When I "go home," I go to Bakersfield to see my immediate family (parents, brother, sister-in-law & nephews), and Los Angeles and Orange County to see extended family.
What I love about the Farm and ResEd: The Farm is truly remarkable in its physical landscape and grandeur: it's its own town! I feel privileged that I get to work here. With ResEd, I am part of a department who understands someone's value and worth, and it is not shy about naming it (and I really appreciate that). I am proud to be part of the ResEd team and the Stanford community!
When I am not at Stanford, I can be found: Sitting on a bench in a museum gallery surrounded by portraits with a journal in my lap, working on my doctoral research, cooking food or meal prepping in my kitchen with Top Chef streaming in the background, or watching a documentary, preferably centered on someone's life or historical figure.
