Adams is located in west campus within the Governor's Corner area of campus. The house provides close access to the Arrillaga Outdoor Education and Recreation Center (AOERC) and the trails around Lake Lagunita.

At Adams House we are committed to bridging our interest and love for art, culture, social justice, and community by creating opportunities for residents to engage the Bay Area through a culturally focused lens.
Rigoberto Marquéz is the associate director of Stanford’s Center for Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity where he oversees the family of undergraduate and graduate programs in collaboration with faculty directors in Asian American Studies, Chicana/o - Latina/o Studies, Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity, Jewish Studies and Native American Studies. Juan Fernández directs and leads the work of the Queer Resource Center at City College of San Francisco. Both are from Los Angeles, CA, children of Mexican immigrants and the first in our families to go to college.
