Neighborhood N Newsletter - Week 10
Main content start
Thanks for a Great Quarter!
This is our last newsletter before winter break. It’s been great seeing you out at our neighborhood events this quarter. We hope you have some fun plans for the break! Best of luck on final exams and projects. We look forward to welcoming you back to the neighborhood in January!
Updates from the Neighborhood N Council
- Our first council meeting of winter quarter is scheduled for Tuesday, January 10. The application for funding will remain open, and we encourage you to submit your requests for winter quarter sooner rather than later! Please review the information about the council application & review process prior to submitting a request.
- We were excited to approve the following proposal at our last meeting:
- Neighborhood N Waking up with Wellness: winter quarter weekly workout class with a local studio
- We are thrilled to share that we’ll be launching the Neighborhood Identity Design Process at the start of winter quarter! This is the way students in our neighborhood will decide on things like our neighborhood tree, flag, chant and mascot. And at the end of spring quarter, we will host a commemoration event to celebrate the launch of these aspects of our neighborhood identity. There will be several opportunities for students to contribute ideas, help design, and vote. We’ll share more about those opportunities in our first winter quarter newsletter. For now, if you’re interested in getting involved, please let us know by replying to this email!
