We can’t believe it’s already time for Thanksgiving Break! We hope that whatever you have planned, it is restful and rejuvenating. We look forward to seeing you after the break!

Scenes from Last Week’s Neighborhood F Events

It was wonderful seeing those of you who stopped by our Row houses last Thursday for the “Fall Back” Kickback!  We had a nice turnout featuring boba, Thai food, and lawn game challenges.  Shoutout to PhiPsi for earning the top honor for resident turnout!  You can find photos from the event on our Neighborhood F Instagram.

Updates from the Neighborhood F Council

• Our next neighborhood council meeting is December 7 at 2:00 p.m. 
• We were excited to approve the following event proposals at our last meeting:
  • Laughs on the Green (Duan): This is a stand-up comedy showcase featuring comedians from Stanford, Los Angeles, and the Bay Area. We book rising and established talent to perform live stand-up comedy for Stanford students at Meyer Green. The goal of this year’s event is to give students a space to destress and be entertained, while also giving rising talent the opportunity to develop their skills in a university setting.  
  • Open House (Pi Phi): An Open House event where womxn from the neighborhood can stop by the space for coffee and bagels and learn more about the Stanford experience. We hope this event can be a safe space for underclass womxn to ask questions about our organization and how to navigate opportunities to build community at Stanford. 

Upcoming Neighborhood F Events

We are excited for the following upcoming program:

• End of Quarter Carnival during Week 10 (TBD):  The neighborhood council is exploring an end of quarter carnival for the community.  It is tentatively planned for the end of Week 10 on Manzanita Field (next to Lantana).  We are currently seeking input from each Neighborhood F house and hope to share more details soon.
