Welcome to The Row! Explore the individual houses, themes, and communities found within the Row, located across the Stanford campus.

  • At 1115 Campus, we pride ourselves on our cooking, music, and art and our community is comprised of not-so-amateur chefs, DJs, musicians, artists, designers, sculptors, brewers, and more.

    550 Lasuen Mall is a self-operated house located on the Row, near Tresidder Memorial Union.
  • 576 Alvarado exterior. Credit: Residential and Dining Enterprises
    Historically autonomous and self-managed, 576 Alvarado is a co-op that prides itself on its deep history and sense of independence.
  • 586 Mayfield's small size makes for an intimate and connective experience.

    680 Lomita is located at the top of a hill. Our backyard also includes such amenities as a basketball court and sand volleyball court in addition to a nice patio and grassy area.
  • We welcome friends to visit our house on any given day, and promise that you will be greeted by a diverse, good-natured—albeit somewhat rambunctious—group.

    Alpha Phi/Kappa Kappa Gamma is located in the northern part of campus at 675 Lomita and is easily accessible to the heart of the Farm.

    Columbae is Stanford’s first co-op, founded during the anti-war movement in 1970 as a home for students committed to social and environmental justice. For over 50 years, our home has been a tight-knit community built on the principle of consensus.

    Durand has a small, intimate size that allows residents to get to know all of their neighbors and form a welcoming community.
  • Grove is a close-knit community. We often have casual in-house events, like trivia nights, to fit with our laid back attitude.
  • Hammarskjöld, the “house with the large front porch and tall columns,” is Stanford’s international-themed co-op.

    Jerry is a tucked away haven for vibrant self-op community. With glorious sunset views of Lake Lag best enjoyed from its two balconies, Jerry boasts a beautiful space conducive to lively events, including its beloved Row Signature Event, Renaissance Jerr.
  • Kappa Alpha is located in the northern section of campus at 664 Lomita, near Lake Lagunita.
  • Kappa Alpha Theta (585 Cowell) is well known for its location in the back of the Cowell cluster, which makes the house quiet and private.

    Kappa Sigma (1035 Campus) has an atmosphere that is exciting and busy.
  • Due to its coveted location, amazing chef, and tight-knit community, Mars is a beloved home to its residents.
  • Muwekma-Tah-Ruk, established in 1988, celebrates the diversity of indigenous peoples throughout the Americas and Pacific Islands.

    Narnia House is a social oasis. Only a seven minute walk from the Row, Narnia reaps all the social benefits while also offering some distance from the roar of the Row.
