At 1115 Campus, located within The Row, we pride ourselves on our cooking, music, and art, and our community is comprised of not-so-amateur chefs, DJs, musicians, artists, designers, sculptors, brewers, and more. -
539 Cowell
539 Cowell is a self-op located in the Cowell Cluster. -
550 San Juan
550 San Juan is a self-op on the Stanford campus, tucked just above the Row. -
576 Alvarado
576 Alvarado, a co-op located in the Row, is more than a place to live — it’s a student-run community where traditions, friendships, and late-night conversations come together. -
586 Mayfield
586 Mayfield's small size makes for an intimate and connective experience. -
675 Lomita
675 Lomita is a self-op, located near the heart of the Farm, as part of The Row. -
680 Lomita
680 Lomita is located at the top of a hill and is part of The Row. -
Adams
Adams House is located at 238 Santa Teresa Street, within the Sterling Quad in Governor's Corner. -
alpha Kappa Delta Phi
alpha Kappa Delta Phi is Stanford's first and the nation's largest and most established Asian American interest sorority and is located on the Row at 1018 Campus Drive. -
Alpha Phi
Alpha Phi upholds the values of sisterhood, generosity, innovation, and character most highly, and in 2026-27 will be located at 702 Bowdoin on the Row in the Cowell Cluster. -
Arroyo
Arroyo is located at 658 Escondido Road, within the Wilbur Hall complex. -
Branner
In Branner, located at 655 Escondido Road, we work to foster a caring community of engaged citizens who pursue personal growth and intellectual pursuits with inspiration, innovation, and passion. -
Burbank (ITALIC+Arts)
Burbank, located at 618 Escondido Road within the Stern Hall housing complex, is close to Green Library, Stanford Bookstore, Main Quad, Wilbur Field, Meyer Green, and outdoor space (including basketball and sand volleyball courts). -
Casa Zapata
Casa Zapata, located in the Stern Hall housing complex, is a four-class house focusing on the Latine experience through educational and cultural programs. -
Castaño
Castaño is part of the vibrant Gerhard Casper Quad, which is home to the acclaimed Gerhard Casper Dining Commons. Residents enjoy a wonderful range of house amenities, as well as close access to Manzanita Field. -
Cedro
Cedro is located on the east side of campus, in the community of houses known together as Wilbur Hall. -
Columbae
Columbae, located at 549 Lasuen, is Stanford’s first co-op, founded during the anti-war movement in 1970 as a home for students committed to social and environmental justice. -
Crothers Hall: Crothers & Crothers Memorial
Renovated in 2009, Crothers Hall consists of two separate buildings: Crothers, an all-frosh residence (with 6 RAs) and Crothers Memorial, an upperclass residence (with 6-7 RAs). -
Donner
Donner was built in the early 1950s and extensively renovated in 1995. -
Duan
Duan is located in east campus, with wings ranging from six to ten stories high. The community opened in 2020 and features a design that reflects the distinct style and attributes of many of Stanford’s most beloved buildings. -
Durand
Durand has a small, intimate size that allows residents to get to know all of their neighbors and form a welcoming community. -
EAST
EAST House is a close-knit community and home for sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Conveniently located in the park-like Governor’s Corner, EAST House provides residents with chef-cooked meals in our dining room and events and outings where students lear -
FloMo East: Alondra, Cardenal, and Faisan (SLE)
Centrally located on Mayfield Avenue, two minutes from Tresidder Memorial Union and five minutes from the Quad, East Florence Moore Hall consists of three houses—Alondra, Cardenal, and Faisan—and is part of the Florence Moore housing complex. -
FloMo West: Gavilan, Loro, Mirlo, and Paloma
The community in West Florence Moore Hall (West FloMo) is an exemplary model of residential diversity. -
Grove
Grove is a close-knit community. We often have casual in-house events, like trivia nights, to fit with our laid back attitude. -
Hammarskjöld
Hammarskjöld, located at 592 Alvarado, the “house with the large front porch and tall columns,” is Stanford’s international-themed co-op. Hammarskjöld is one of the smallest of the co-ops, with 33 total residents, including student leaders. -
Jerry
Jerry is a tucked away haven for vibrant self-op community. With glorious sunset views of Lake Lag best enjoyed from its two balconies, Jerry boasts a beautiful space conducive to lively events, including its beloved Row Signature Event, Renaissance Jerr. -
Junipero
Junipero, affectionately known as JRo, is located on the east side of campus, in the community of dormitories known together as Wilbur Hall. -
Kappa Alpha
Kappa Alpha, located within the Row at 664 Lomita, has six values outlined in our Stanford KA constitution: leadership, community, service, diversity, knowledge, and growth. -
Kappa Alpha Theta
Kappa Alpha Theta (ΚΑΘ) is a University-owned sorority house, located at 585 Cowell in the back of the Cowell Cluster, and its relaxed atmosphere makes it an amazing place to call home. -
Kappa Kappa Gamma
The Beta Eta Deuteron chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma was established at Stanford on June 10, 1892, as the second female fraternity at the school, and in 2026-27, it will be at 710 Bowdoin in the Cowell Cluster. -
Kappa Sigma
Kappa Sigma, located at 1035 Campus on The Row, is focused on the four pillars of fellowship, leadership, scholarship, and service. -
Kimball
Kimball Hall thrives as a hub of creative activity on campus. Located in the Gerhard Casper Quad, Kimball has a music practice room, art studio, and a large lounge with excellent acoustics, lighting system, two grand pianos and a fireplace. -
Lantana
Lantana is part of the vibrant Gerhard Casper Quad, which is home to the acclaimed Gerhard Casper Dining Commons. All of Lantana’s common spaces are located on the wheelchair-accessible first floor. -
Larkin
Larkin is the longest-serving all-frosh house situated close to the center of campus. -
Mars
Due to its coveted location, amazing chef, and tight-knit community, Mars is a beloved home to its residents. -
Meier/Naranja

Mirrielees
Mirrielees sits in proximity to Gerhard Casper Quad, Vaden, and other East Campus landmarks and offers a friendly environment a little removed from the hustle and bustle of the main campus. -
Murray
Named after Augustus Taber Murray, Murray House is considered an independent house (along with EAST and Yost). -
Muwekma-Tah-Ruk
Muwekma-Tah-Ruk, located at 516 O'Connor Lane, was established in 1988 and celebrates the diversity of indigenous peoples throughout the Americas and Pacific Islands. -
Narnia
Narnia House is a social oasis. Only a seven minute walk from the Row, Narnia reaps all the social benefits while also offering some distance from the roar of the Row. -
Neptune
Formerly known as Slavianskii Dom and located at 650 Mayfield Avenue, Neptune strives to bring vibrant, wholesome, inclusive energy to its house the Upper Row. -
Ng (Humanities)
Ng House, located in the Gerhard Casper Quad housing complex, is a living-learning community dedicated to the humanities as ways of thinking, making, and connecting. -
Norcliffe/Adelfa

Okada
The Asian American theme house, located in the Wilbur Hall complex, was established at Stanford in 1971 to create community and center the experiences of a very small and primarily first-generation Asian American student population. -
Otero (Public Service & Civic Engagement)
Otero, located in the Wilbur Hall housing complex, is Stanford’s Public Service and Civic Engagement (PSCE) Theme House. -
Phi Kappa Psi
Phi Kappa Psi, located at 592 Mayfield Avenue on The Row, is a diverse community that celebrates its uniqueness and is just the right amount of weird. -
Pi Beta Phi
Pi Beta Phi, located at 517 Cowell Lane within the Cowell Cluster, and for our members, “the 517” is more than a house. -
Pluto
The house was recently renovated with ample common space for get-togethers as well as a sunroom that is perfect for reading and studying. -
Potter (Explore Energy)
Potter, featuring the Explore Energy theme, is located on the beautiful western edge of campus within the Governor's Corner housing complex. -
Rinconada
RINC LOVE is the foundational essence of our community, ethos, and culture. -
Robert Moore North (The Well House)
Robert Moore North, home to The Well House and located at 562 Mayfield Avenue, is a substance-free undergraduate residential community and experience-based on the theme of wellness. -
Robert Moore South (BOB)
Robert Moore South (BOB) is known for its extremely central location and therefore social nature, but few people realize it represents much more than just that. -
Robinson
Robinson House is located in Sterling Quad, where residents enjoy a vibrant and engaging community thanks to ongoing dorm activities and attentive RA staff. -
Roble
Roble Hall, which turned 100 years old in 2018, is Stanford’s oldest continuously operating dorm. -
Roth
Residents enjoy regular community events, collaborations with other upper row houses, and a welcoming community. -
Sally Ride
It brings great honor to residents of Sally Ride House, formerly known as Serra House, to be named after a Stanford alumna and the first American woman in space. -
Schiff
What's Schiff house like? First, your student staff will be some of the first people you will meet when you arrive, and they are incredible. -
Sigma Chi
Chartered at Stanford University in 1891, Sigma Chi has been on campus for over 126 years as one of Stanford University’s oldest fraternities, and in 2026-27, Sigma Chi will be located at 550 Lasuen, near Tresidder Memorial Union. -
Sigma Nu
Sigma Nu (ΣN) at 557 Mayfield Avenue on The Row offers a social space for campus through major events like Moonsplash and Sunsplash, an arts and poetry slam called S.N.A.P.S., and community service activities. -
Sigma Phi Epsilon
SigEp, located at 1047 Campus Drive on The Row, strives to challenge the traditional fraternity stereotype, and through our Balanced Man Program, we provide our members with an unparalleled experience of personal development. -
Soto
Soto is located on the east side of campus, in the community of houses known together as Wilbur Hall. -
Storey
Storey House is known for its extraordinary food; students and staff travel from across campus every other week for our extravagant brunches. -
Suites
The Suites are located in the west section of campus, near the golf course and Lake Lagunita. Consisting of four individual houses: Anderson, Griffin, Jenkins and Marx. -
Toussaint Louverture
Toussaint Louverture, or "TouLou," is a vibrant community on the upper Row. -
Toyon
We hope to help make Toyon a community of the kind that encourages students to feel truly at home and able to integrate the often-confusing variety of college life. -
Trancos (Outdoor House)
Trancos is home to Stanford's Outdoor House and is one of the eight houses in the Wilbur Hall housing complex, located on the east side of campus. -
Twain
Close to the heart of campus, Twain is adjacent to volleyball and basketball courts, and expansive lawns for lounging and relaxing. -
Ujamaa
Ujamaa House, located in the Lagunita Court housing complex, was created as a concept in 1970 with a concentration of Black first-year and upperclass students living on east campus, and moved to its current location in 1976. -
Warehaus
The Warehaus is a self-operated house located on the upper Row. -
West Lag
West Lag (Eucalipto and Granada) has a strong sense of history, community, and tradition. -
Xanadu
Xanadu—“the enigma of the Row”—is an inclusive home. -
Yost
Yost House is situated in a serene, open space of West Campus near Lake Lagunita.
