Neighborhood Programs

Residential Education is seeking eight undergraduate students who are passionate about community engagement to facilitate neighborhood programming. Each neighborhood programs intern works closely with their Community Coordinator, supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of neighborhood events.

Duties and Responsibilities

Neighborhood Events

  • Assist with event planning and support
  • Address equipment and technology needs 
  • Prepare and organize materials

Administrative Support

  • Research vendors and communicate with points of contact
  • Review and update shared documents and spreadsheets
  • Manage email correspondence at each stage of the neighborhood program proposal process
  • Other assignments as requested by the Community Coordinator

Commitment

  • Autumn, winter, and spring quarter (September - June)
  • Up to 6 hours per week
