Neighborhood Communications

Work closely with neighborhood staff in the design and delivery of key messages to the community through written, visual, and social media.

Duties and Responsibilities

General

  • Attend weekly neighborhood communications team meetings
  • Attend neighborhood community council meetings one to two times a month

Social Media

  • Source neighborhood-specific content for social media accounts
  • Serve as primary user for uploading posts and responding to direct messages
  • Collaborate with Associate Director of Administration and Communications Designer to develop graphics and supporting language

Communications and Administrative Support

  • Assist with mailings to neighborhood residents
  • Support management of neighborhood Slack workspace
  • Collaborate with neighborhood professional staff and community council on new ideas, directions, and tools for communication

Commitment

  • Autumn, winter, and spring quarter (September - June)
  • Up to 6 hours per week
