Student Leader Engagement

Work closely with the Associate Director of Student Leader Engagement in the design and delivery of key messages to the student leader community through written, visual, and social media.

Duties and Responsibilities

Social media

  • Create social media accounts and source student leader engagement-specific content
  • Serve as primary user for uploading posts and responding to direct messages
  • Collaborate with Associate Director of Student Leader Engagement and Communications Designer to develop graphics and supporting language

Student Leader Resource Guidebook

  • Create and update Student Leader Resource Guidebook
  • Take lead in gathering training materials to add to guidebook

Communications and administrative support

  • Assist with student leader selection and training scheduling using Microsoft Outlook
  • Assist with updating student leader roster and mailing listserv
  • Collaborate with Associate Director of Student Leader Engagement on new ideas, directions, and tools for communication

Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to work up to 6 hours per week according to University policy on limitations on hours of employment for undergraduate students (see Admin Guide Memo 10.1.1 Undergraduate Student Employment: “Hours Per Week”)
  • Must maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information and student data
  • Commitment to uphold Stanford policies and complete designated trainings upon appointment
  • Knowledge of social media tools and platforms
  • Strong communication, organization and networking skills
  • Creativity and adaptability
