Work alongside the Associate Director of Resident Fellow Engagement to support events, special projects, and administrative needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

Events (30%)

  • Assist with space reservation processes 
  • Ensure building access and set-up
  • Welcome attendees upon arrival   
  • Support Zoom and sound/visual system tech needs 

Special Projects (30%)

  • Prepare and organize materials 
  • Facilitate campus pick-ups and drop-offs 
  • Research and propose best system platforms for intended goals 

Administrative Support (40%)

  • Create, edit, and contribute to documents and spreadsheets   
  • Develop and implement efficient organization systems  
  • Meet weekly in-person with the Associate Director to provide updates on progress

Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to work up to 6 hours per week according to University policy on limitations on hours of employment for undergraduate students (see Admin Guide Memo 10.1.1 Undergraduate Student Employment: “Hours Per Week”)
  • Must maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information and student data
  • Commitment to uphold Stanford policies and complete designated trainings upon appointment 
  • Familiarity and comfort with Google Suite and Zoom  
  • Adaptability, innovation, and strong communication skills

Commitment

  • Autumn, winter, and spring quarter (September - June)
  • Up to 6 hours weekly (flexible hybrid model during operational hours M-F, 9am-5pm) 
  • 1 in-person evening a month from 3-9pm

Compensation

$17.50/hour
